Hysterical Crybabies…

Between kicking and screaming and  changing their diapers every three hours, Democrat politicians, radical environmentalist reporters, and climate change demagogues  are beyond hysterical over the selection of Oklahoma attorney general Scott Pruitt as Donald Trump’s pick to head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Hysteria rules the day.

Here’s a quick glance at just a few of the silly charges thrown at him.

The Sierra Club:  “Having Scott Pruitt in charge of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is like putting an arsonist in charge of fighting fires.

Radical environmentalist, Bill McKibben:  Sometimes ‘puppet of industry’ is a metaphor. Sometimes it’s literal. Meet Scott Pruitt, new head of the EPA…”

Benjamin Schreiber, Friends of the Earth’s climate and energy program director:  “By appointing Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency, Donald Trump has made it clear that he intends to wage war on clean air and clean water.  As the Attorney General, Scott Pruitt did the bidding of the oil and gas industry and fought many of the laws he will now be tasked to enforce.”

Trip Van Noppen, president of Earthjustice: “Every American should be appalled that President-elect Trump just picked someone who has made a career of being a vocal defender for polluters to head our Environmental Protection Agency…”

“He’s been so cozy with polluter lobbyists that he let them draft comments about federal pollution limits, changed a few words, then copied it onto his official Oklahoma Attorney General stationery and submitted it as the comments of the people of Oklahoma.  He has fought Environmental Protection Agency pollution limits on toxic substances like soot and mercury that put us all at risk for increased cancer, childhood asthma and other health problems. He falsely claims that fracking doesn’t contaminate drinking water supplies…”

Dan Pfeiffer, former Senior Advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama for Strategy and Communications: “At the risk of being dramatic. Scott Pruitt at EPA is an existential threat to the planet”

Daily KOS Blog: “He’s a crook…”

Think Progress Blog: “Scott Pruitt running the EPA is like the fox guarding the henhouse.”

Bernie Sanders:  “Trump’s nominee to lead EPA, Scott Pruitt, is a climate denier who’s worked closely with the fossil fuel industry. That’s sad and dangerous.”

House minority leader Nancy Pelosi:  “The Pruitt nomination must be blocked “for the sake of the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the planet we will leave our children.”

New York AG Eric Schneiderman: “Pruitt is a  dangerous and an unqualified choice.”

Headline at Ooyuz.Com Blog: “Trump’s EPA Pick Scott Pruitt Literally Built The Swamp”

It’s downright hilarious to watch these people attempt to discredit and destroy the Oklahoma AG. So he’s a ‘like a fox guarding the henhouse‘? He’s  ‘puppet of industry‘? He’s ‘a crook‘?  And he’s ‘like an arsonist in charge of fighting fires‘? Most laughable of all, however, is the wild notion that Pruitt is ‘an existential threat to the planet‘. These people are out of their ever loving minds.

As a proud Oklahoma climate change skeptic, I’m happy as can be that sanity is finally around the corner in the climate change debate. It’s long past time for the climate change demagogues to get cut down to size. I am confident that Pruitt will be confirmed as head of the EPA. Will there he a big fight in the confirmation hearing? You bet! Will the radical political and environmental left give up promoting the hoax of catastrophic manmade climate change. No. Not at all. But sooner rather than later, the alarmist movement will lose its influence. Climate change alarmism is on the wane. Sanity is on the rise. Thank goodness for that!
